My roles revolves around the planning and fluidity of providing telecoms to new site, builds that have damaged lines and connecting people to the online network of the world wide web. I ensure jobs continue to progress to get all customers online; internal and external
A lot to do with understanding your customers that you may come across. There are heaps, and are taught about the different profiles, experiences and outcomes of the majority of our possible customers; internally or externally
Best leap of faith from a dead end job. I learn on the job, and can fulfil skills and qualities I want to make the most out of this job, within the company and industry
I'd like to say very well structured, however, due to the ongoing covid-19 pandemic it has been a real struggle. Our tutor has ensured we catch up via Microsoft teams, so I suppose have that when we aren't able to work from the office.
A fair amount. Most of the time we're allocated time during our days to complete any outstanding apprenticeship work, but depending on how the day has progressed, sometimes we can be left with a lot to deal with. I find its all part of the package!
A lot if required! I tend to prefer working by myself and ask only if I absolutely need to have some support. If I do need it, it is widely available, with it only taking a day or two maximum for a response - usually with a teams call.
I feel that is might not necessarily help me perform better as I have some form of background with this industry via family members, but it does allow me to refine those small imperfections on parts I may not have fully understood in previous years
No, so far there hasn't been any available extra-curricular activities available. (So far)
