As a bus driver, I am responsible for the operation of services in and around Greater Manchester and looking after the safety of customer.
I have cemented my knowledge of bus knowledge and the operations of the services through this apprenticeship. My mentor has been very helpful towards my progress.
I am enjoying my programme very much.
Very structured with any information I don't understand explained clearly to me
My employer is very good at making sure I get enough time off the job and help organise on the job training.
My mentor, David Yarwood and the other TDOs are always on hand to assist with any support I need and have been fantastic throughout the apprenticeship
I feel a lot more confident in my abilities to complete my role safely and professionally thanks to this apprenticeship
There is a few different opportunities for social clubs and sporting events and you can also sign up for special event work such as parklife or the commonwealth games.
