  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is really well organized and structured. we have been given an overview of the subjects covered across the whole course, each split into separate modules that weave together. Contact time with the tutor is preplanned and can be moved to suit business / personal reasons and the portal keeps everything in one place.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I haven't passed the qualification yet but so far the learnings I'm getting both from the course and through mentoring and shadowing other managers have all helped me to perform better in my role. Once the course if completed and I hopefully gain the qualification I can see me being better experienced and more confident as a result.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • We have a lively outside work culture where i work where managers are encouraged to organise social time and get togethers for their teams to enable better understanding and respect for each other. Covid has put a number of activities on hold but the culture is still one of enjoying each others company outside of the day job.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Wayfair to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • A great company to work for, they show respect for each person who works here no matter the grade. This respect manifests itself in multiple ways from realistic work targets, a strong work/life balance ethic that includes minimal contact outside of working hours, a 4on4off work rota to further compliment this, extra sick pay in case on isolation requirement from covid,

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Wayfair?
  • Emphasise your experience at managing change, it is a company that never stands still and is always looking at how to improve and go further to deliver relentless customer focus. there is no one type of worker here as the experience from all is valued and respected so think about what value you can bring rather than trying to fit into someone else's idea of the role
