I take on a paralegal role within my team at IM. My main role is to support the other solicitors and partners in the team with day-to-day tasks. This can involve making calls to clients, paying invoices or reviewing post.
I have definitely developed my communication skills by working here at IM. I have also developed new skills, such as the use of new software, client communication and professionalism.
I enjoy my programme.
My programme is well structured it is just sometimes difficult to follow.
I receive a lot of support from my employer, but find it hard with working from home.
I receive ample support from my training provider when i need it.
It really helps me perform in my role as it teaches me valuable skills needed for my kind of practice, such as client care and legal skills.
We do have some social activites on offer, however, it would be nice to have more and because of COVID these have halted.
