I have the opportunity to do many placements, but my main role is to ensure the quality of operations within the business by evidencing this and offering opportunities for improvement if needed. Also to maintain the quality and strive for improvement throughout.
I have learnt many skills. A lot of IT and management skills as well as about how the business operates which will help me to undertake my job role once qualified. Everyone is extremely supportive in helping me learn and develop my skills.
I thoroughly enjoy my programme. Everyone is very supportive and helpful to ensure that I get the best out of it and learn the most I can. I have been provided with opportunities to do and try new things which I am loving!
The programme is very new, but has been organised well to ensure I see the full picture through a variety of placements and learning experiences which have been planned for the duration of my apprenticeship. I have been told what these are and am excited for what is to come.
I am fully supported by my line manager and other managers. I feel confident to ask questions when I am unsure and feel as though I can ask if I needed additional support and it wouldn't be a problem.
I receive lots of support for my qualification. My manager also gets involved with some meetings and looks over my work sometimes to check I am on the right track. I know I could ask for support any time if needed. I also do my training and college work in work time.
It is only the start of the programme but I have been able to relate my learning into my practice already and have used some tips and knowledge gains from the qualification to use in my practice also.
There are many extra curricular activities including networking events, celebration events, union events and events where I can have my say for things too.
Yes
Because everyone is very supportive and helpful and is making the apprenticeship interesting. I feel extremely supported and my personal life is considered when working to ensure that I can have a good work/life balance.
Do not be afraid to ask questions. Questions that you think may be silly are welcomed and supported and everyone is here to help.
