Every day has been different and I have been very happy with the progress so far.
From the first day I have learnt a whole new skill set. The apprenticeship will continue to help me to develop new skills and there is opportunity to continue this within Babcock once I have qualified.
I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of this course and I know that each day is going to be different.
The programme is extremely well organised, I feel that if I ever had any problems I could rely on the course tutors, ADM's and ADL's for support.
I feel very supported by my employer.
The support has been there since day one, with clear goals and realistic expectations.
Working towards the qualifications sits well with the practical work as it makes us aware of what is required from us. It helps to give us a better understanding of the skills and outcomes we will achieve.
We have access to online groups which we can join, these are great for diversity and inclusion.
Yes
Babcock is an extremely good employer, they want you to succeed and to be the best you can be. They will invest in you and this is a hard thing to find with most employers. I would highly recommend working for them.
Be prepared for all of the stages before interview. Very important - Look at the sample questions and do the practice pages before answering online, it is timed but try to relax and do your best. Practice for the interview (If it is still online recruitment) before recording yourself, you only have two takes.
