My role involves supporting claimants into work by identifying their barriers and utilising my knowledge and experience to move them closer to the labour market. I have liaised with external and internal colleagues to achieve the best results for my customers, and to promote excellent customer service for the department. I have a good knowledge of my customer’s needs and aspirations; I bear this in mind with communication received from the Employer Engagement Team, and inform customer’s either face to face or by email of suitable vacancies that they can apply for. I have had very positive feedback from the customers.
I have been involved in implementing a new system of working and identifying problems that had arisen.
