I look after the facilities in a school caring for the grounds and the interior of the school and the building fabric. This involves daily cleaning, a prepared maintenance schedule and carrying out other jobs as they come up. As well as dealing with contractor works in the school wether that be repairs or maintenance
I have learnt many new skills practical and academically. This includes things like use of machinery, how to use that to maintain grounds and other areas like astro pitches. I have also learnt how to maintain a pool which involves measuring and adding chemicals, using specialist equipment such as a pool cleaner
I am enjoying the program a lot, it teaches a lot of different things which i can use in day to day life and other job roles in the future. It has also given me a chance to interact with others and make good professional relationships with other members of staff
The structuring of the program was a little unorganised at first but was soon sorted out and ever since has been very good with how it is layed out and the ability to get in contact with the providers is very useful and has been very accessible and very well organised.
I can receive all the support i need from my employer, Thankfully I have not needed much support as it has been so well layed out but if i do need it then the support is there for me and is very well provided on whatever level is needed from me.
The support from my training provider has been exceptional. If i need anything i can just call them or email and i will get an almost instantaneous response. It seems that support is very high on their list of priorities and no expense is spared when support is needed by someone
It has taught me skills i need for my job role which make me more effective at performing my job. It also teaches skills for working with others which helps to develop god relationships with other staff members which helps you to be more effective as a buisness and work better together
We have had staff games nights and every friday we have a social event called cake friday which helps build the positive relationships with other staff members and adds towards working well together and overall will improve how to business works as a whole. This also just makes the relationships better which makes a more pleasant working environment
Yes
Because as an organisation they are very well set up for teaching which will help you get the best qualification possible. They also have a very well set up system for and problems or support you may need which is very good and something you need when learning and not all organisations have this.
If you have any questions about what support you will get or how you will deal with any problems you have then you don't need to worry because lmp are excellent at supplying the support you may need. Choosing the correct course is the important part and as long as you do your research you can see exactly what each course includes
