Yes, I have learnt new programming languages, worked towards skill badges (agile methodologies, cloud computing, quantum computing, project management, BA) and developed my existing soft skills such as communication and teamwork.
I really enjoy my programme, it's interesting and there is a lot of support.
The uni work can be confusing sometimes as there's a lot going on but deadlines are clear and there is help if I need it.
There is a lot of support provided - foundation managers ensure we are doing well at both uni and work, buddies/mentors offer more informal help and there is a great support network of apprentices
There is plenty of support from the university if needed, extra sessions are put on if you're struggling and lecturers are available to email - plenty of support on the work online too
At the moment, as I'm in year 1, it doesn't apply too much to my work but it will more in the future.
Yes, there are lots of societies, some have even started doing in person events. There are a wide selection of networking events, social clubs and sports teams
