I service trucks and replace faulty components.
I have learnt how to service a truck and tell the difference between a working and faulty component.
I enjoy being hands on and doing jobs I haven't done before
The college side is structured well. Skillnet work is structured well. At work it can be hard to learn new jobs down to how busy we are.
Motus does not have a good structure for apprentices but if asked to get experience on a certain type of job they will give it to you.
Skillnets support is really good and can always get in touch with them for any help needed.
The work that skillnet want from you helps when it comes to getting certain jobs I may not be given at work. This helps me learn more.
We don't do many extra activities but if we do I try to attend for the social aspect.
Yes
It's a great job for someone who likes hands on work. There is rarely a time with little work going on so plenty of jobs to get stuck into.
Keep your head down and work hard. Take on as much as you can from others.
