I work in a functional role in my day to day work. Some of my tasks during the day are to make sure the jobs from the night before have all worked successfully. I need to produce reports to send to clients. I monitor calls which come in and if I know how to fix the problem then I'll fix it. I communicate with clients on a daily basic to make sure things are getting done right.
I've passed my apprenticeship course and gain some good qualifications from it. I have been on quite a few training courses which has improved my knowledge to help me with my day to day work. As well as improving my professional skills I have also improved my personal skills like presenting.
It's a good company to work for and I have got on with my team well. I have got on well with the other apprentices which have joined the company and if one of us has a problem then we'll try to help out.
Any work or projects I work on and do well then I do get told that people have recognised my good work. Also if there are any problems then they are discussed and sorted out.
Everything was set out from the start so we knew the dates when we had training and when we were going to be in the office. Sometimes the trainer didn't turn up so we got messed around a bit.
Each tutor we had was always available to help us out the only problem was that we had quite a few tutors so we had to keep changing the person we contacted which wasn't ideal.
If there's a problem then there's always someone who you will feel comfortable to go to and discuss and there will be a way to sort out the problem/get time off if needs be.
I manage the money I earn well and make sure that I manage to cover all costs throughout each month.
With are company we have 5 a side football which gives you the chance to meet people from a different team within the company. There are opportunities to volunteer to go to the local school fairs to talk about your experiences to school leavers.
