Yes I have improved my time-management skills and my communication skills especially body language. I have learnt a lot of new management skills. I have learnt a lot about the technology and the inventory/order process within Iceland.
I enjoy my apprenticeship because I think my programme helps me think out of the box when it comes to retail. This gets my quite curious wanting to learn more about certain aspects in retail.
I think my programme is very organised/well structured as in the order of the topics they fall in line with each other.
If I’m ever struggling with my programme I know that my manager and senior supervisor are both there to help. They have both helped me on a few occasions throughout my programme already.
He generally leaves me on my own to complete the module, but if it gets to our next meeting and there were bits I struggled with he will talk me through what I’ve put and he will give me advice and help me think outside the box using questions
I think my programme majorly improves how I perform at work as it makes me think about sales and customer service more, ensuring that the customer is always happy.
No, other than our work conference that happens once a year which is basically a party for everyone that works in Iceland to go to and meet each other
