My role is split between standard procurement (i.e. tendering, contracting, onboarding of new suppliers, etc...) and project management. My key responsibilities incl.; stakeholder management (internal and external), on-boarding of new suppliers, strategic planning and development within my category, category management.
Definitely! I have had a lot of experience to develop the following skills: presenting, communication, interpersonal skills, time management, organisational abilities and recently more leadership and managerial skills
I thoroughly enjoy my programme. I have found it extremely useful to learn the logic behind my procurement role and it has given me more confidence when doing my daily role.
I would say that my programme is relatively well structured, however, the reason I will not score it a 10 is that at the beginning it took a while for us to get a tutor and this caused a lot of delays in our learning. However, apart from that it has been great!
I would say that my employer is very supportive (particularly my senior management) and will assist wherever required. The only thing I would say is that my workload is quite high and this has impacted quite heavily on my work-life balance in recent months
I would say that my trainer is generally great. They are very helpful at answering questions and super supportive. The only thing is that I find that they go off tangent quite a lot and this can waste a bit of time.
100% it has helped me. It has given me greater confidence when doing my job and has taught me the theory behind what I do. It has also allowed me to see things from a different perspective & apply theories and models to my work
Yes definitely. We attend a lot of expos
