Caring for the elderly as well as nursing the elderly, help with washing, dressing and helping them with their food, and any needs that is required throughout the day.
I have developed existing skills needed for my career.
I enjoyed my programme very well learning and finding out new ways to care for someone.
The programme was very informative and organised in an excellent way.
A small amount of support, but they are there if needed and if anything accurs.
My training provider was very insightful and helpful in everyway, she was their when i had any problems or questions that i didn't quite understand, always on the end of the telephone.
My training was helpful in lots of ways, and a better understanding of the Law and how to preform my job on a day to day basis. I have also put my theory's into practice many times. I also feel that I know more about my job role through completing my qualification.
No, as I am an Agency care worker and as such I go to different places every day, so there is no extra-curricular activities to get involved with. when not working I volunteer at the local dog sanctuary and I also like to do gardening which keeps my mind active.
