  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I look at our PRM scheme and eComm content as well as leading in data acquisition for my team - I am in a team of around 15 people where we all have our specialist roles, as the apprentice I am able to help out across all of these different tasks

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes, I have learned how to use many new tools that are common in corporate companies e.g power Bi, Sales Force, and Brand Watch, as well as this, I have developed my presentation skills massively, taking part in many company presentations on a large scale which have really helped me

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • i really really like my team, they are all so kind and helpful, however, I find the uni aspect of it very difficult as I don't have any support from LSBU and a huge work load as well as a 9-5, I find this very stressful and hard to manage

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • it has a very tight and rigid structure within the company as a whole, in my team we just have 1 manager across all of us so we are all equal - I work in digital hub and then those who are brand specific sit in a different area and not my team

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • from my employer, i get lots of support and help if I am ever struggling, being in the office helps and we can chat in person and get the support I need. they also offer great mental health schemes that i can use which are a massive help to me

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • we have all the linked in learning sessions that we can use at any time, then we have training sessions throughout the week every month that cover many different topics that I can use and utalise when needed - you can also sign up to different training sessions if wanted here

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • i feel like it does not relate, it is an old course which is not relevant to what I do at work in many many case - this makes doing one file a very hard task and LSBU have no help or support when I say that it doesn't link so I cannot add correct or relevant topics

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • there are lots of after work drinks or little parties throughout the year we can attend, they also do 'away days' as a team where everyone has a day off work together to do fun activities which are really good for getting to know the team and the other memeber
