My role sits within the Future of Work team, where we deal with critical things such as reskilling and upskilling our employees, working on youth engagement and offering new flexible employment models. My day-to-day role is varied and allows me to work on multiple interesting projects.
I have developed my whole skillset whilst here at Unilever, and I feel I am a much more skilled person than before I joined. New skills such as networking and business acumen have been added to my personal skillset.
I love the format of my Unilever apprenticeship - the culture here is amazing and apprentices are really valued highly. I have been involved with some brilliant projects that I never thought an apprentice would have the chance of doing - the programme is really enjoyable!
The structure of my programme is fantastic - I feel fully supported throughout and able to ask any questions I have. The study/work balance is suitable for me and allows me to put all of my effort into both aspects of the programme.
I receive lots of support from my employer - my line manager is always ensuring I am doing well. My team are brilliant too as they are always there to answer queries and give me constructive feedback.
I have all the support I need as I can contact my tutor with questions anytime.
My qualification helps me within my role as I can apply my learnings directly to a real business environment. This enables me to perform better within my role.
I have got involved with a number of exciting events at work - all have been enjoyable and worthwhile.

Unilever is amazing to work for - I feel really valued as an employee and supported from all areas of the business. It is also very motivating to work for a company that strives to have such a positive impact on the world.
Take every opportunity you can - there will be lots of things to get involved with but ensure you manage your time effectively to include these opportunities. Try your best to enjoy the onboarding and assessment processes - the interviewers are always really nice people!
