As a duty manager, I manage the shift I do and the people around me. I make sure our shift runs smoothly taking care of any inconveniences along the way and delegating tasks to my co-workers and maintaining a clean and friendly work environment.
I've learned how to delegate, which used to be something I was not comfortable with at first. I've learned to deal with complaints in a more calm and confident way. Most of my problem solving skills increased a lot.
I like it. There are always going to be some modules you already heard of and that you're not so interested at first, but I find that, the more we proceed with it, the more interesting it gets. I like learning new things
It's pretty well organized. We start simple and move up to more complex things.
A lot of support! I absolutely love my boss. She makes sure our progress runs smoothly and goes above and beyond for us.
We receive a lot of support as well. She gives us all the material needed so we can succeed and is always available to find a good time for us to meet up and discuss any issues or improvements.
It helps out quite a bit. Honestly, I don't think I would have known how much I needed to improve in my "people skills" until I started this course. I honestly am grateful for the opportunity and can't wait to see what else I will be able to learn.
We have a football team that plays every year. I'm not really into it, but that's okay, I really like watching them play
Yes
Because, at least where I work, it's great to work in. I love the people, the support and your hard work pays off. There's always something new around the corner.
To come in with an open mind for knowledge. There's always something new to learn and the people around you will be like your family. Trust them and be kind, everyone, no matter how small, has something to teach.
