My Role includes doing example projects that I would be doing should I have been on a real project but because I am so new to this role example projects is something I currently work on
Yes , project management , social listening skills , data processing , data collection
I enjoy my programme however I feel as though the work has been quite slow or maybe not as team based as I hoped the example projects I complete individually then report to my line manager when ive completed them
It is extremely well structured in terms of university and how the modules will be taught, on the work based side there are rotations between different functions which Is great as it gives a more well-rounded experience of all the functions rather than just the 1.
I receive incredible support from my employer from health and wellbeing sessions to training courses available to increase my skills and qualities to bring to my role
Yes we receive a lot of support as well, in addition to the study day lectures there are also support sessions to ask any questions we may have
I feel as though it provides me with the basic knowledge I require however applying this knowledge to my role perhaps requires more specific training available from my companys learning platfor.
Not that I know of currently due to covid but I believe there are onsite gyms available at some sites. And there is also apprenticeship networking events as well
Yes
Because you are able to progress through the company and work for such a global company with exposure to a variety of different business divisions
I would say make sure you apply with knowledge of what division you would like to go into as I think once you are put inside marketing or supply chain you remain within that division but rotate in different sub functions within that division. And also try to network with current apprentices who work in the role you are applying for to see if the job role is for you .
