Working as a product developer on innovating projects. Daily tasks evolve around making food samples, tasting food samples, working with suppliers and working with an international team.
I am learning time management skills, commination skills and how to be adaptable and agile. Also learnt level two food safety.
I love the company culture and the values this company has. Everyone is really friendly and very helpful and great mentors. It exceeded my expectations. I really enjoy working here and being part of the team.
The University course is well structured. I have not spend long enough in the company to know how well structure it is, but from the overview they have dates when I need to go into the pilot plant but I do not know when my second rotation will be.
I have a Line Manager who is incredibly helpful and supportive, I have weekly meeting with them. HR have always been helpful with any questions. Everyone at work is really friendly and if they cant support me they will let me know who can.
University are easy to contact and my tutor is very understanding and supportive. They have 1to1 sessions offered by the library to help with course work and a lot of resources online to support too.
They are closely link to one another and my company is supportive to make sure if I need to do something for University that they will find me an area to work in that backs up my study and supports me.

The application process is one of the best ones I done. They keep you updated and respond quickly with offers. The onboarding process is supported. Interview was well structures. Just make sure to bring your best self to the assessment centre.
