I work in the Pro-Active team dealing with non fault third parties to sort their damaged motor out whilst saving money for my company as they do not go through their own insurers or any credit hire companies. Our team deals with over 1000 claims a month and I contribute to this
I have improved my communication skills with the time I have spent on the phone dealing with customers. I have also improved my knowledge of the insurance market with the completion of my Cert CII qualification which has enabled me to apply my knowledge in the job role to assist my work.
I really enjoy my programme as it helps me gain invaluable skills in the insurance sector and I feel it helps me stand out in my job role as other individuals do not have the same background knowledge that I have gained due to the apprenticeship programme I am on.
My programme is very structured as I am set regular targets by my talent coach to assist me in the apprenticeship. I am given clear dates when work needs to be submitted and I believe this helps me as I can work with a clear frame of mind towards it.
I have received a great deal of support from RSA as they stick to my allocated off the job hours and will always go the extra mile around my exams so that I have the best possible chance of passing which is really helpful. They also pay for any resits I take.
I have received an unbelievable amount of support from Kaplan when working towards my Cert CII. They have set me up with their specialist coaches to complete my exams and they have identified the exact areas which I need improvement so I am fully confident in the exam and I can perform to the best of my ability.
I really feel this is helping me in the job as whenever a query is asked on my team, I am one of the first to be able to give my perspective and I can back this up with the knowledge I have gained from my exams. This is helpful when I work on a small team.
We have a volunteering process in RSA which means that 2 days a year can be spent outside of work doing charity stuff. This is so good as a business as we can help our local communities even when we are meant to be in work. I like to go to the football in my time off, and RSA help me work around this.
Yes
I believe RSA is the best insurance company on the market and it is such a family environment to work in. I have been blown away by the support provided within my job role but also my apprenticeship. I believe we as a business set the standards for other companies and I am so happy I work here.
Applying online has never been easier through our website. My interview was in the office as part of assessment day but within the current climate I know RSA have adapted to the COVID protocols and can interview online. You won't find a better company to work for in Liverpool than RSA.
