One a day to day basis I come into the college from 7:30-15:45, within this time I complete practical work and then do an assessment on what I’ve been doing. Once a week I do a theory day.
Yes. Before joining I had no prior knowledge of electrics or using tools however now I feel more confident.
I enjoy my program lots, I find electrics very interesting and I also am learning whilst getting payed.
Overall the program is very well structured, especially considering how many apprentices there are each year. I’m always aware of what I need to do each day.
I receive lots of support from my employer, if I need anything there’s always people to contact. Within the college there is also lots of people to get help from.
My training provider helps a lot with my qualifications. They are very experienced and know what I need to do.
I feel that it helps a lot as I gain hand skills and knowledge for my role.
