I attend university as a normal student and then do a 10 week summer placement in the summer with PwC. You have weekly skills meetings via Google Meet with PwC
People Management, Teamwork, Knowledge of different areas of computer science, Collaboration, Time Management
Great balance between work and university
Very clear communication with the employer as to when you need to make decisions on your summer placement.
Can email the apprenticeship leads with questions at any time and they will always reply. Also have tripartite meetings where you get a chance to discuss any issues or concerns you have with the employer.
A lot, weekly skills meetings as well as tripartite meetings to get a chance to ask questions to your employer.
Yet to start placement but the skills sessions feel like they will be valuable in the workplace.
Can join all of the university teams for sport. Termly networking events are organised by the TDA committee for PwC
