As an apprentice teaching assistant I help, assist and work with student at my setting. This is through their work, wellbeing and any issues should they have. I have assignments that I complete that work towards my end goal of qualifying as a level 3 teaching assistant and undertake as much training as possible that fits my role.
I have been able to grow my confidence incredibly and portray this within my role. I have learnt about flexibility and the importance of this, especially within an education setting. I have been able to learn a lot about SEN and how I can deal and understand students who have additional needs and the best ways to communicate and work with them.
I absolutely love my programme. Everyone I have met or had to communicate with has been incredibly helpful and are easy to get in touch with. This has been a completely new job role for myself and I have been able to grow and achieve so much through the programme I am in right now.
I believe my programme is very well organised and structured. I am given enough time to complete assignments and if I need assistance someone is always there to help and are very easy to reach. I have regular meetings and reviews to track progress and to see where I am with my programme which is very helpful.
I receive so much support from my employer. They are incredibly helpful and are very easy to communicate with. Nothing is ever a big issue for them and all information they give us apprentices are very concise, clear and easy to understand, they have been very helpful throughout the programme so far.
I have been incredibly lucky to have such an amazing training provider, no task is ever too big for them to help out with and the regular meetings and reviews are a great way to track progress and to see where I can work more towards. I am able to easy communicate with my training provider and they are very quick to respond.
I am able to learn so much about what a teaching assistant is and how I can learn and progress to my full potential. Assignments have been a great way to write about what I have learnt and developed so far in my job role and they are great way to reflect upon this.
At my setting there are a lot of extra-curricular activities that I can get involved in. I currently do homework club for Y7-9 students who are SEN and I am involved in my settings LGBTQ+ support group which has been very interesting as we are helping with lesson planning for Ethics.

Everyone I have spoken to or had to communicate with has been incredibly helpful and approachable. I find that there is always someone there to help and they are very inspiring with us apprentices to achieve the best out of the programme. They have been a great provider and offer a lot of extra training in areas I would like to work more within.
I would advice anyone who would like to apply to Inspure ATA Ltd. to go ahead and do it, they would have no regrets with it at all. They have really been the best employer and are so genuine and caring towards their apprentices and they really want us to do well and achieve the best outcome we can.
