My role varies each day from supporting the apprentice network one day to catching up with my current project team the next.
I've been given opportunities to carry out extra training courses both externally such as LinkedIn Learning as well as internal training within workshops. These opportunities have developed both my technical knowledge as well as grown my softer skills.
I enjoy the culture and my team, everyone's willing to help and friendly
Quite structured, induction to the apprenticeship helped so much. I have regular mentor, buddy and other support check ins that help me with any problems. Training provider could be much more organised on the other hand but overall the programme is well structured.
I have a strong support system a line manager, mentor, buddies, my team and fellow apprentices etc.
I have support calls with a coach that I can go to for any guidance on problems
I do feel that my qualification helps me learn more about the IT industry and gets me to understand my company much better but not directly into my role.
There are many groups that hold social events within my workplace, even if it has been virtual so far
Yes
Everyone I've met so far is friendly and helpful
