In Dec 2021, after I began the Payroll Apprenticeship, I was promoted to an Accounts Assistant role in WW's financial accounting team - I ensure the correct money is flowing into the business and out with invoicing, debtor chasing and bank reconciliations.
Absolutely, I had never touched Payroll before, so everything taught to me was new, and has developed my knowledge around the topic. I have also become more confident with assignment submission format and cohesion.
I find the sessions very engaging and productive, they have been an incredibly supportive since the start - I have enjoyed the programme very much.
Very well organised, we always plan ahead so that I can allocate time to dedicate to it.
My new team leader always encourages me to block time out of my working day to focus on MBKB work, however as I am also learning a new role within her team, we both understand I haven't had as much time as I usually would.
Great support, we're moving onto the revision section now for my apprenticeship
I don't work within Payroll at WW, so it doesn't particularly help me perform better in my role directly, however, I have gained many transferable skills though.
not many opportunities to do so, they host leaving drinks parties at the most expensive place in town to drink, our Christmas party has been rescheduled to March
Yes
Great support within teams and lots of benefits, opportunity to grow or expand careers
Be honest and share any career aspects you have - WW will want to help you achieve them.
