  • As an Assistant Contracts Manager at HS2 I provide contract management across HS2 Ltd's corporate contracts portfolio. I use contract models to ensure that we comply with statutory requirements along with relevant government policies to deliver value for money.

  • The course has taught me some new skills as as well as developing existing skills. Some areas covered are: Self awareness, leadership, communication and collaboration, operational management, project management, quality and change, problem solving and decision making, finance and negotiation

  • The course is well organised and presented well. The topics covered have been enjoyable and putting them into practice has resulted in added recognition in the work place.

  • The course is well organised and structured with each topic building on the knowledge learned in the previous month.

  • My employer is very supportive and allows me the time to complete my studies as well as contributing to the regular feedback sessions with my tutor.

  • The training provider is always available to provide support either during the regular monthly sessions or via Teams or email.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualification has definitely helped me perform better in my role. The theories I have studied equip me with an alternative way to view aspects of my work that I may not have previously considered.

  • It is a great place to work and build your professional experience. The project itself is quite unique and HS2's approach to the challenges it presents are equally innovative.
