I overlook the London Apprenticeship Ambassador Network whilst being situated in the TB+A office. I collate apprentice employer activity, share newsletters, blogs and case studies of our ambassadors. I also help in organising events and meeting with ambassadors to gather quarterly statistics.
I have improved my interpersonal skills as my role consists of talking to a lot of people. I also feel as though I have grown in confidence as I now have the opportunity to speak in front of an audience which I had never been comfortable in doing before.
I enjoy working with people and helping them, and I enjoy roles where I am involved in speaking to people regularly. This is why I enjoy my programme, and I've always had an interest in learning about businesses, so working with people while studying about businesses is great.
I would say it is very organised; I catch up with my apprentice tutor every few weeks and I always learn something new when we do catch up. All the modules are straight forward to complete, and my EPA has been a smooth process so far.
I recieve a lot of support from my employer. My line managers are all extremely helpful and make my work enjoyable, and although I don't work directly with all of my colleagues in the office, I can go to them with anything I may need help with and everyone is very friendly.
I receive a lot of support as all of my questions are always answered, they are always there if I want to speak to them for a few minutes regarding my work, and I feel very comfortable and not always stressed when working towards my qualification.
My qualification helps me to perform better in my roles as I am more aware of things such as policies, the role of stakeholders and business processes that everyone should be made aware of. It has helped me when approaching certain situations and has helped me to also contribute to the processes of my job role.
Within TB+A, there are regularly social events that they hold which are always fun. From a LAAN perspective, my line manager always makes sure that I am involved in any networking opportunities whether that be careers fairs, conferences or external events.
Yes
It is a great place to work as they really take care of their people; everyone is really helpful and friendly and you form so many personal relationships, not only work relationships. It's never a dread to come into the office.
Considering an apprenticeship at TB+A is amazing, they really know how to invest in their apprentices and they champion apprentices so much.
