Software Programming role which involves creating and maintaining databases for clients, Also involves day to day tasks of handling problems thats users have with the systems
I have developed existing basic programming skills and learnt new advanced programming skills in a few new programming languages. I have also learned new personal development and project management skills.
The programme is very enjoyable, I am more than happy with the way the programme is delivered.
Capgemini makes every apprentice feel appreciated, they are confident in giving apprentices important tasks knowing that they can complete them.
The programme is well organised and the structure is made clear from the very start. There is a good mix of training and on the job work throughtout the apprenticeship.
QA are our training provider and they provide a lot of good training material that helps with the training that I need, the tutors are helpful and available most of the time when you need them.
Capgemini gives so much support to apprentices, our programme manager is available at all ours of the day to deal with any queries or problems that I may have.
I am happy with the Salary that I receive for the job I do. I know that if I thought I was doing more work than my salary shows then I could talk to my manager about it
Capgemini does arrange many activities and events outside of work to boost the contact network for each apprenticeship.
Yes
It provides a secure job with a healthy salary giving great qualifications and experience in that field. It also provides a sponsored degree after 5 years, which compared to university avoids the need of a student loan. It's an ideal job!
