My role is to take care of the children, meet their needs and help them to reach their potential.
Yes, I learnt new skills based around different ages and stages of the children and how to adapt .
I enjoyed the job role and working within the setting however some of the coursework was harder to understand through online learning.
It is well structured and you know where your at with everything through their bud website.
Lots of support was given from employer with reading through coursework, and any questions about it.
My tutor was very good however due to covid contact was limited and it became harder to interact with tutors when not seeing them face to face.
I know more about safeguarding, different theorists ideas to incorporate in to work and things that I wouldn’t necessary learn on the job.
