I am the fist BIM apprentice for Mace. What i do on a daily basis is attend growth meetings, use many forms of cad (navis works, revit, assemble and so on...) to find any issues in projects this could be to highlight them before the mistakes are made in order to save time and costs
Yes i have learnt new skills, i am extremely new to this industry so anything i learn is is a new skill
I like the technical aspect of everything. but mostly i love that we are currently shaping the future. we are currently coming up with new ideas and concepts to help improve workflow in the future.
very well. the company has an information hub website if there are any questions or if you just want to obtain some additional knowledge.
I am extremely new to this industry so anything i learn is is a new. My line manager and others have made sure to explain everything at a understandably pace and always help if i have a question.
A LOT! he always gives me time to work on my assignments in the office if i need to if there is any questions i have i ask him and if the question is not suited best foe him he refers me to the head of that given department which are always super useful.
It is for sure useful however not everything I am learning from my training provider applies to my job role.
