I am responsible for supporting the smooth delivery and excellent learner experience on board our apprenticeship programmes here at co-op. I liaise with learning provider, colleague and line manager to ensure success for learner and our business, whilst maintaining strong professional working relationship with the learning provider.
I have learned how to communicate with influence, how to project manage, build trusted relations, align the apprenticeship programmes to our business needs. I am confident to create delivery sessions as well as deliver them and evaluate the impact of the solution
I have enjoyed the whole experience so much more than I could ever have predicted, from the classroom led tutor sessions to the self-research and day-to-day implementation of my learning, this has been the most rewarding experience for many, many years!
I have found the programme extremely well structured will formal lessons recorded so I could watch them back, and fit them around my work pattern and family life, the drop in sessions fun and easy to access, as well as the 1-2-1 coaching reassuring and embedding.
Lots. My line manager has protected my 20% and trusts me to manage my own diary, he has offered my support with the project planning and exploring new and challenging areas of my role.
There has been a constant flow of information mostly at the right time, though I did find the shift in pace from working towards the qualification to that ending and starting to plan for en d point, more information on journal writing would have been good.
I am now in a new role that I would have had the confidence to apply for before doing this programme, it has reignited my passion for learning and not just working in L&D
I have a busy family life with pets and afterschool clubs which doesn't leave much time for work extra-curricular events. I do hope to get involved in this years Pride events on my region.
