  • Operational and strategic management of the Essex Child and family wellbeing service based in North East Essex - Children's community pre birth to 19 years of age service - Health Visiting, School Nursing and Family Hub delivery.

  • The MBA is very relevant to my role, it has enabled me to become more strategic with my approaches to innovation and problem solving

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Excellent, the MBA is a really great course, its really demanding whilst working full time but its absolutely worth doing, i am enjoying my role more now as i can see how the MBA is benefitting the way i approach my role on a day to day basis

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Really clear and well structured - the whole course is virtual but Aula is very clear to use and the course modules are well laid out so its easy to know what you need to do and when. the virtual approach has made it easier to balance work / university balance

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer encouraged me to do the course ad i have a work based mentor to assist with tripartite meetings. you have to be very proactive to be able to utilise the 20% time that should be allocated for the apprenticeship

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • very supportive university, very good websites to use for research, excellent online library

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Its made a huge difference already , i am thinking more strategically and it is noticeable in the way i respond in meetings and with presentations. I feel more confident in my approach

  • The whole course is virtual but each module provides additional assignment tutorials which are useful

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • As a registered practitioner i have retained my agenda for change and feel valued for my Clinical and managerial knowledge. HCRG Care Group is underpinned by 'Care think do' and we use this approach within the underpinning ethos of service delivery


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to HCRG Care Group?
  • Research what we do as a company and as a business unit its important you have a good understanding of our values and motivation for what we do
