My role is an FNOL (First Notifiction of Loss) handler within Commercial Motor Claims. I also deal with the Personal Motor Scheme portfolio. I am the first point of contact for customers when they call in to report an incident. I then deal with liability discussion, assign suppliers and notify responsible parties.
I was already an experience handler with Personal Motor Claims. I have just transferred those skills over to deal with Commercial customer and their Intermediaries.
Its given me more confidence. Its enabled me to obtain by Cert CII qualification which I last tried to do in 1990. Its enable me to pick up where I left off in the early 80s, when I used to do assignments for my O-levels.

All hopefully, we with efforts will enable to pass my apprenticeship.
RSA have been fantastic. They have given me at least 2 hours per week, during worktime, for study.
My support has been first class. No complaints at all. If I have had any issues, they have assisted me along the way
Its given me a lot more confidence in how I do my work. It has given me a greater insight into insurance and how insuers and the FCA and PRA operate, which I didn't know before. Having a professional qualification will open more doors in RSA for me.
Well. I did the Apprenticship at the wrong time as it was in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemnic. I am still WFH, so extra cirrucular activies haven't restarted. Although with lifting of restrictions, this may change
Yes
I've only been at RSA for 3 years and two of those years was during lockdown. RSA have been very supportive of WFH during that time and have looked after our wellbeing. Soon we will start hybrid working now that things return to "normality".
RSA is a great company to work for. Just be prepared for hard work and rewards will come along the way.
