  • I act as a secretary to the trustees and collate relevant info/documents needed for trustee meetings and discretion cases

  • I have learnt how to set up agendas and reports as well as studying for my pension qualifications

  • I enjoy my apprenticeship as I feel as if I am part of a team and can ask anyone for help if needed

  • There are monthly meetings with my apprenticeship coach which help support my learning progress and my coach can outline any work i am to complete in the next month

  • My manager and I have weekly catch up meetings discussing what I'm doing and if there's anything i need support with

  • My coach sends study materials and a checklist each month which contain assignments and questions to help improve my study

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • There are a some cross overs especially legislations which i learn in my study which is needed for day to day tasks in order to comply with certain regulations

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I attend the office's 5 a side team who play weekly in a league which is fun. There are office social events that people can attend after work also.

  • Yes

  • All colleagues are open to support those especially on apprenticeship programmes and the overall working culture is one nice to be part of


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Aon?
  • Don't hesitate to apply, the interview and onboarding process is light hearted. Be yourself and don't hold back on asking questions as everyone is willing to give you help
