My jb role as assistant manager comprises mainly as running the front of house side of things, i work on alot ensuring team members are serving efficiently and to spec, providing extra training when needed. i will also look after stock outside of shift hours, ordering and trialing new products.
my social skills and product knowledge are ever expanding as i progress further into marstons field of business, i have gained a much more meaningful understanding of why certain products exist in different types of usiness
i do feel it is fairly hit and miss.. certain topics are out of my depth and i have to try harder to understand, though challenging this pushes me to try harder- usually this is with topics that grip me abit more and i feel necessary to learn, however there are others i feel arent so specific to my role and come across almost patronising, as well as certain topics not being delivered to the best of my own preferences.
