  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • At first I loved my programme it was great, i was excelling in regards to how fast i could complete my tasks set by my learning and i was informed i could finish early. I finished 100% of the criteria and then was furloughed for 6 months after furlough i fell pregnant and was informed i could be through EPA by the time i go off on maternity, therefore i raced to finish any outstanding work and did updates. Once i returned i had my third tutor due to one being let go, one being promoted and now by my third tutor i was informed i have to complete hundreds more hours so now i am not enjoying it due to having no work left but sitting completing more hours of off the job to hit the requirements to proceed to EPA. just wish my expectations were set sooner.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is very organised, its clear they have their requirements and procedures to follow however i feel there's definitely a huge improvement point needed for learning curve in regards to communication between tutors and individuals learning circumstances. I feel a lot of lessons have been learnt through my experience but hasn't benefitted me. Each tutor says different things and always has to be clarified from higher up in the business. I always feel i get a good amount of work each session and is always met with a friendly tutor.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • So much support, i have a great manager and director who always go above and beyond to make sure i have the right opportunities and support me in anyway i ask. They are excited for me to complete my program and be a 100% dedicated member of the team. The early talent manager is also so great/friendly/supportive and accommodating to all my concerns and needs.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I do feel i get a lot of support i just expected to be finished a long time ago. Im starting to develop the attitude it is holding me back and are becoming less motivated as i am updating documents twice due to circumstances out of my control e.g. furlough, i wanted to continue with my work however i couldnt. then i went to have a baby and i had to do the exact same so ive worked on an essay 3 times. That side of the apprenticeship i dont enjoy i feel it contradicts the whole purpose of an apprentice as ive been advised to go on training courses to make up the additional hours of off the job yet i dont feel i need to right now and its purely for a tick box activity. However in contrast if i need any support or have any questions about any tasks i know my tutor would be quick to respond and in a very helpful manner.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Its been a great help as an entry level into the business to understand the principles and business fundamentals that go into a business. Its helped me understand strategy and the project life cycle. Having this knowledge brings great awareness to understand a day to day of a business and how projects work which is fantastic as i work within a project team.
