Book viewings, phoning current tenants/guarantors to help with their queries, make sure viewings are claimed, assisting with inventories and handovers, engaging with contractors/Student Brand Managers, preparing for rent release, recruiting for Student Brand Managers, assisting for my portfolio manager to my assigned region and lots more!
I have developed many skills, including communication, marketing, customer service, confidence, team work and managing parts of the sales process
It has nothing but fun the whole way through, can be a bit quiet. i,e: getting phone calls but overall I always have something to do, they have sent me across the UK so it is not just office based. I love the delegation and independence this company gives
During letting season, they were a little late with the rent release however that is the only thing I would say. Other than that, they have always been very organised and structured
Lots, the employer has been nothing but helpful especially with this being my first proper job.
I am not working towards any qualifications as this is an internship but in terms of helping as to what I would like to do in the future, they have been most helpful
I now know more about the industry from what I do here at student cribs. Due to this, I have developed the knowledge and confidence to go forward with this career choice
Yes, due to having different people based across the UK, we come together at least twice a year for social events as well as taking part in competitions multiple times throughout the year . We also have occasional drinks on Fridays and department lunches.
Yes
