Daily tasks include general administration of a pension scheme such as updating personal member information or providing members with detailed illustrations and projections of their pensions.
I have developed existing language skills through telephone experience as well as mathematical ability when completing complex calculations on a daily basis.
The programme is thought provoking and intriguing and individuals are enthused and charismatic about work. The company culture and atmosphere keeps enjoyment level high and attitudes positive.
The initial support support in the role is strong both internally and externally through the training provider. Ample time is provided for study and other off the job developments.
Support is always available from the team when needed and the general attitude to support is positive and effective. Training is provided from all areas of the team, accelerating integration in the team and creating a good team dynamic.
Meetings are set up once a month with the training provider to discuss progress and are helpful especially in the later stages of the apprenticeship when more support is needed. The providers make themselves available to be contacted outside of the monthly meeting if additional support is needed.
The work with the training provider often feels quite segregated to everyday work tasks and one doesnt seem to effect the other. having to complete work for the training provider sometimes felt like it clashed with your BAU workload. Some meetings through discussion helped me gain some knowledge of various tasks but more assistance came from the inhouse support teams.
There have been virtual extra-curricular activities available but self isolation and lockdown scenarios have limited the availability of other social events
Yes
They are a top 100 employer, provide a lot of support and offer a great working environment
The application process for myself was somewhat out of the ordinary due to coronavirus and I ended up applying for my position in Feb 2019 and didn't start working until late January 2020. This left me unsure if I was going to be given the position for sometime so I would explain the process can take some time.
