I am a Personal Assistant to 3 scientists within AZ. I manage their diaries, sort out their meetings and deal with anything that they ask me to. As well as this, I doing side projects such as creating help sheets and organizing group virtual team building exercises.
I have learnt a number of skills including managing invoicing, managing someone else diary. Also have developed current skills such as my communication and how to construct a professional email and networking in the company.
I really enjoy my program and find I am constantly learning new skills and different ways to approach different problems. I find I am always challenged as well which I enjoy.
I think it could do with being a bit clearer on some of the activities, as sometimes the wording doesn't make sense. Also find some of the tasks are very easy and could be a bit more complex.
I receive a lot of support and have regular catch up's with my line manage to make sure I am on track with all the tasks.
I feel like I am supported however I do think stronger communication from his part is needed as sometimes things can get lost in translation.
