We listened to various talks and took part in discussions related to important areas of Skanska growth as a business. This included our opinions of being involved in the industry so far.
Communication skills with unfamiliar faces. Improved questioning process and aLTERNATE THINKING
It was a good experience, but some of the talks were engaging and some were not. consequently, only half of the talks were a success in my opinion.
The event was well organised and ran to plan.
I liked the level of involvement that the company seemed to be inspiring to create between the graduates. However, some of the mantras did feel as though they were ticking boxes rather than actually being viable options to take into the future.
Not a great deal. I don't think that was the main purpose of the day.
no.
Yes i believe this was a good oppurtunity in this sense. Despite this, the fact that it was virtual made this more difficult. if the event could've been held in purpose it would have been better for this.
Yes
They are a huge company that provide plenty of opportunities for growth and seem to be focused on developing workers/graduates across the company. This is in terms of training and a consistent line of communication.
To learn the Skanska values and come up with/look at ways where you feel you have acted like or experienced similar circumstances. Also, to remember that being a good communicator and developing relationships are really important as they helping you in the working environment as well as just attending.
