  • My role is in customer service, and I am based in the Service Delivery Department for Copper in Openreach. The work involved in this department mostly consists of planning work for engineers and liasing to customers.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Throughout my apprenticeship, I have been able to gain new skills particularly with identifying and analysing maps and using Microsoft excel. I have also been able to develop my existing skills by spending more time reading notes and making sure the relevant information is applied to my jobs.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy meeting and working with my collagues and customers to ensure the work carried out has been done correctly.

  • I think the programme is very well organised with alot of good learning materials.

  • I receive a lot of support from my employer which is very helpful for my development with Openreach.

  • I receive a lot of support from my training provider which is helping me towards my qualification

  • I think it will prepare me better for my job role because I am learning more about customer service and I feel a lot more engaged with my work.

  • There have been some social activities which I have taken part in that I thoroughly enjoyed.

  • I would recommend Openreach to a friend because it has a very positive work culture and the support given is very good.
