as a retentions adviser i take calls from customers who are wanting to leave the company, i give customers new deals and better prices and talk them through the benefits of having the services with virgin media
i have learnt a lot of new skills including communication, confidence, i have developed great team working skills and i have also built my own characteristics of when i take a call and build rapport with customers
i enjoy the programme because as i am working i am also learning and this allows me to understand the smaller details of the business
the programme is structured very, very well. this is because it is split into categories and this makes it easier to understand and also makes doing coursework easier
i receive alot of support from my employer as my manager is always aware of any meetings and my manager also asks is i need any assistance ir time offline to complete any coursework before the deadlines
i receive a great amount of help and support from my training provider and this is extremely helpful when i am handing in my work or if i have any questions or queries this gets answered right away
the qualification allows a breakdown of information for the role and this allows me to gain knowledge which makes me more confident when i am speaking to the customers
yes! we have what we call volunteer days. we have 5 of these a year and these are spread out and organised by the team manager and the whole team, on these days we choose a place where we can volunteer (eg:beach). the team will meet up here and we will all take part in litter picking. we will have a set amount of hours and at the end of this day we may all go for a meal together, a great way for the team to break the ice especially when working from home
Yes
I feel like i did not know much about virgin media and their benefits, a lot of others will also not know about the charity work, the benefits and the great service they provide
i would advise them that t is a great place to work with friendly staff and loads of personal benefits, there is plenty of room to improve your skillset and progress further in the role
