Network engineering within an internet service provider. Working with customers and install teams to set up and manage networks
A lot of new skills from personal to professional skills. How to create your own brand
I think it was the best choice I have made. I decided to change careers and it was a leep of faith but the programme has been brilliant.
The programme is structured on the learning/trainer side of things. At the beginning of your work side you get plenty of time to settle in and slowly learn the role. The balance is brilliant
All the support you need. From your colleges to line managers and if you need more help there is always someone here to talk too and support you.
You can have unlimited support and that is there when you need it.
Currently it is building a basic foundation and I feel i may need more training to perform my current role.
Too many. You can join all sorts of networks or make your own one up if you want too.
Yes
The apprenticeship has been brilliant so far and everyone has made me feel welcome. Importantly I feel like a member of the team and not below anyone just because I am new or an apprentice. I would highly recommend the role and the company. Good luck with your challenge.
Be open to new things and make sure you network with people from around the business. meet people and connect. Everyone is super friendly
