I manage a large team of Business Analysts working on Projects and Programmes of IT change within the University. I need to plan resource allocations, tackle project issues and blockers and support best practice for Business Analysis. I am also part of the management team.
Yes during the apprenticeship it has enables me to learn new management skills to improve my own capabilities. Through the modules I have undertaken so far it has enabled me to reflect on my key strengths and development areas. I also take time to review my capabilities more.
I am really enjoying the programme and what it is enabling me to do. Brookes is an excellent provider and I feel well supported and have everything I need to do well.
The programme is well organised and structured. I am very clear on what I need to do to achieve my apprenticeship and MBA.
I have received excellent support from my Employer giving me the day a week to study and ensure that I have sufficient time off work to progress my apprenticeship and development.
I have received excellent support and they are quick to respond when I have raised a concern or made an enquiry. The Moodle VLE site is well structured and I can usually find what I need fairly quickly. The excellent induction really helped this.
It has given me some different perspectives to consider and hearing from other delegates on the course and how their employers do things is so valuable. The network of people really helps you think outside the box and gather that important insight into ways to consider things.
Yes there are lots of opportunity as University of Oxford is an excellent employer, with many opportunities for sports, social and professional networking events like conferences and further training offered.
