I travel to customers house either fixing faults or installing CPE and giving them the low down on how the equipment works
I have learnt very technical skills which are useful for home use as well. I had never used tools before which sounds silly, however I am now very confident in using them. I have also been able to massively develop my people skills.
Every aspect. I meet lots of different people that I work with and are fantastic and the customers aswell. Ibreally enjoy working with the products as you do get great satisfaction that you have set someone yet.
Very well organised with clear instructions. The programme did.changeba fair bit but due to covid I can appreciate the company was adapting.
Loads. There are so many people that can help. You can always talk to fellow techs, or managers. As an apprentice, we are also given an apprentice support specialist who has been a technician so knows exactly what they're doing
Every 3 weeks we get a study day towards the apprenticeship. We get support throughout the day but we need to get hold of out development coach on any other day, we can do.
As we were taught an awful lot about the telecomms industry, it has helped massively with my understanding of the industry
All the time. There's a commitee that always puts events on. Whether its learning about other aspects of the business, or doing yoga, there's always something. You can get involved in site tours as well
Yes
Great team, products, benefits and just a great company to work for. You're not treated as a number.
Show interest in anything and everything. Get your name known. It will help in the future if you want to go into other areas of the business. One big thing is DO YOUR RESEARCH! Hugely important.
