I manage the software application used by the Field Sales Team, I also manage the data collected and stored within the Azure database, interacting with Internal IT and external vendor to maintain application and database. Projects are carried out to enhance and improve the system regularly.
I passed the Exams whilst on the programme, Data Analysis Concepts and Data Analysis Tools which were both BCS accredited qualifications. I also learnt and enhanced Power BI skills to now be fully competent in producing and managing dashboards. I have enhanced SQL skills to previously being able to produce basic scripts to now more complex nested queries. I also learnt project management, python and R coding skills.
I enjoyed the structure and the topics on the programme and learnt many new skills and behaviors
I thought the planning of the sessions was very good, diary invites were well in advance which enabled the work and sessions to be planned in around my day to day role and therefore no issues were experienced.
My line manager was very supportive and was the person who recommended the programme to me and my main supporter whilst on the programme.
My data coach and training provider were very supportive, I was always able to plan in sessions to discuss and pick up, each session I was given clear advise and instruction on goals and next objectives which stretched my learnings.
I believe that my learnings whilst on the programme will enhance my abilities to perform my current role, such as when I am involved in projects to take the learnings from projects from the programme on producing a project brief and dealing with stakeholders. I have also produced Power BI reports to the field team using the knowledge learnt whilst on the programme and enhanced these further with the SQL and python coding learnt.
During the programme these activities were limited but all due to Covid 19, activities were available pre Covid 19 and as the business is now moving back to a normal way of working again then they are now starting days in the office again and events/activities will then likely follow again. I have therefore rated this based on my experience of these activities prior to Covid 19 which were readily available.
Yes
My experience of Pepsico over the 18 years I have worked here is that it is an enjoyable place to work and that there is always the opportunity to learn and progress through your career and therefore I would recommend it to anyone.
My only advise would be that if you are willing to put in the hard work and determination to succeed then pepsico will recognize and reward this work and effort.
