What I do on a regular basis is analyse Windows Servers when they go live and troubleshoot when there is problems with them.
I learn something new everyday, from work related to communication skills with the team picking up new technical vocabulary.
I really enjoy the programme mainly because its mostly work. The assignments are related to what job role you have which really helps because you are learning and being assessed at the same time.
The longer you work the more valuable you feel because you have more of an input and contribution towards your team.
The programme is organised to an extent. The way the assignments are structured could improve. The information relating to the assignments can be confusing as they have complicated it by the way they have wrote it. The work life can be structured better by training us up quicker.
The main support you will get is from the day releases.
Whenever I am stuck or confused i could always ask anyone in my team and they will assist as soon as they can. Even if you are working from home you can contact them via Sametime (Messenger), Email and they can assist you by either typing, calling or Webex.
The salary is great, but it takes a bit because i travel a distance.
Opportunities job wise its hard because you wouldnt find this sort of opportunity anywhere at my age.
