Stared learning accountancy skills
Although only 6 months into the programme, I am finding it rewarding about learning about different aspects of the business
The block learning at uni, webinars and how my work is structured around the programme works really well
I am able to schedule my time according to my personal needs and can get help from my mentor and fellow apprentices.
The contact time at uni and during webinars is invaluable, and we are able to contact tutors for further guidance and assistance if we need to.
I am able to look at theory and put it into practice in my work. The apprenticeship standard is also making me learn new things so that I can experience modules first hand
There are organised activities that happen and various teams to get involved with depending on personal preference

I find that McDonald’s puts their people first and have developed excellent systems for training, personal development and well-being. Most of my closest friends either work or have worked at McDonald’s as well- you work in a team and get friends for life!
If your starting part time or full time, working around school, your children, or any other commitments- you can still go far. I started as a part-time crew member when I was at college, and 3 years later ended up running that restaurant as a Business Manager.
