Answering incoming calls from potential new customers. Understanding the customers current situation, issues with current supplier, real reason for wanting to change supplier, closing down the deal and getting the customer to join Virgin Media with a fantastic new TV Package.
Listening is a major part to this role, upselling at various parts of the call is a new skill i have learnt.
I have really enjoyed the fact i will become qualified whilst earning really good money. I work hard and benefit financially, which sees me as a top 20% performer, which in turn is exciting.
Weekly contact with Seetec, may sound alot but its fantastic as it keeps you on track, so easy to get distracted with the day job. Seetec really have a grip of this apprenticship, i couldnt do this course without the help and drive from Seetec.
I was introduced to Virgin Media from an internal friend who personally recommend this company. I am so so glad i joined, the work and home life is brill. Benefits from Discounts on TV Packages, Health and dentist private care, then my manager is just fab,.
Monthly is the usually frequency for the contact, i personally found little bites weekly suited me more and seetec were more than happy to work with me and could identify this works for them too
For me, my trainer actually worked for Virgin Media in the past and therefore i believe has greatly helped me, as she had learnt skills which i have been able to use.
I have recently become a volunteer for elderly people, which has come directly through Virgin media.
Yes
All the above.
Be prepared to work hard and enjoy what you get in the back pocket.
