My job role includes working with clients to ensure financial statements are materially true and fair.
New Skils: > Teamwork > Leadership > Flexibility > Public Speaking
Somewhat agree. At times it is long hours and high stress situations, but in most the good weighs out the bad.
Rather well organized - clear pathway. However due to the size of the firm, the process is sometimes too centralised to accommodate for personal circumstances.
Lots of support. There is a counseling manager who I have bi-weekly catch ups with who is there to understand and back my corner.
Kaplan provides as much support as you push and need. There is access to study sessions and tutors for any help.
I believe that my qualification has helped me establish myself within my position and has given me knowledge on areas on audit which otherwise I would struggle with.
There is networking events through ICAEW. Within EY Cambridge there is also charitable events such as Bingo, Bake Sales and team games. There is also a 'Family Day' where everyone comes together once a month.
